⁴⁵ Then He came to the disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting?^[a] Look, the time is near. The Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.^(A)

⁷ saying, ‘The Son of Man must be betrayed^(A) into the hands of sinful men, be crucified, and rise^(B) on the third day’?”

²⁴ So a second time they summoned the man who had been blind and told him, “Give glory^(A) to God.^[a](B) We know that this man is a sinner!”

¹⁹ For just as through one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners,^(A) so also through the one man’s obedience^(B) the many will be made righteous.
