Micah 2:7-9
New American Standard Bible 1995
7 “Is it being said, O house of Jacob:
‘Is the Spirit of the Lord (A)impatient?
Are these His doings?’
Do not My words (B)do good
To the one (C)walking uprightly?
8 “[a]Recently My people have arisen as an (D)enemy—
You (E)strip the [b]robe off the garment
From (F)unsuspecting passers-by,
From those returned from war.
9 “The women of My people you (G)evict,
Each one from her pleasant house.
From her children you take My (H)splendor forever.
Micah 2:7-9
New International Version
7 You descendants of Jacob, should it be said,
“Does the Lord become[a] impatient?
Does he do such things?”
“Do not my words do good(A)
to the one whose ways are upright?(B)
8 Lately my people have risen up
like an enemy.
You strip off the rich robe
from those who pass by without a care,
like men returning from battle.
9 You drive the women of my people
from their pleasant homes.(C)
You take away my blessing
from their children forever.
