Nahum 1:4-6
New Catholic Bible
4 He rebukes the sea and leaves it dry,
and he dries up all the rivers.
Bashan and Carmel wither,
and the greenery of Lebanon fades.[a]
5 The mountains quake before him,
and the hills dissolve;
the earth collapses before him,
the world and all who live in it.
6 When confronted by his anger,
who can stand firm?
Who can endure his burning wrath?
His fury is poured out like fire,
and the rocks are shattered before him.
