Nahum 3:6-8

⁶“I will ^(A)throw ^[a]filth on you
And ^(B)make you vile,
And set you up as a ^(C)spectacle.
⁷“And it will come about that all who see you
Will ^[b]shrink from you and say,
‘Nineveh is devastated!
^(D)Who will grieve for her?’
Where will I seek comforters for you?”

⁸Are you better than ^[c]^(E)No-amon,
Which was situated by the ^(F)waters of the Nile,
With water surrounding her,
Whose rampart was ^[d]the sea,
Whose wall consisted of ^[e]the sea?
