Nahum 3:6-8

⁶I will ^(A)throw filth on you
And ^(B)declare you worthless,
And set you up as a ^(C)spectacle.
⁷And it will come about that all who see you
Will ^[a]shrink from you and say,
‘Nineveh is devastated!
^(D)Who will have sympathy for her?’
Where shall I seek comforters for you?”

⁸Are you better than ^[b]^(E)No-amon,
Which was situated by the ^(F)canals of the Nile,
With water surrounding her,
Whose rampart was ^[c]the sea,
Whose wall consisted of ^[d]the sea?
