¹⁵ You ^(A)provided bread from heaven for them for their hunger,
You ^(B)brought out water from a rock for them for their thirst,
And You ^(C)told them to enter in order to take possession of
The land which You ^[a]swore to give them.

²³ Yet He commanded the clouds above
And ^(A)opened the doors of heaven;
²⁴ He ^(B)rained down manna upon them to eat,
And gave them ^[a](C)food from heaven.
²⁵ Man ate the bread of ^[b]angels;
He sent them ^[c]food ^[d](D)in abundance.

^40 [a]They ^(A)asked, and He brought ^(B)quail,
And satisfied them with the ^[b](C)bread of heaven.
