¹⁹ Anything the ·Israelites [^Lsons/^Tchildren of Israel] present as holy gifts I, the Lord, give to you, your sons and daughters as your ·continual [perpetual] portion. This is a lasting ·agreement [treaty; covenant] of salt [^Crepresenting perpetual agreement because salt can survive fire; Lev. 2:13] before the Lord for you and your children forever.”
