15 If this is how you’re going to treat me, why don’t you just kill me? I can’t face this trouble anymore.”
16 Yahweh answered Moses, “Bring me 70 Israelite men who you know are leaders and officers of the people. Take them to the tent of meeting, and have them stand with you. 17 I’ll come down and speak with you there. I’ll take some of the Ruach that is on you and put it on them. They will help you take care of the people. You won’t have to take care of the people alone.

15 If this is how you are going to treat me, please go ahead and kill me(A)—if I have found favor in your eyes—and do not let me face my own ruin.”
16 The Lord said to Moses: “Bring me seventy of Israel’s elders(B) who are known to you as leaders and officials among the people.(C) Have them come to the tent of meeting,(D) that they may stand there with you. 17 I will come down and speak with you(E) there, and I will take some of the power of the Spirit that is on you and put it on them.(F) They will share the burden of the people with you so that you will not have to carry it alone.(G)
