9 But do not refuse to obey the Lord. Do not be afraid of the people in that land. They are ready for us to fight against them and win! They have no place to hide! The Lord is with us to help us. So do not be afraid of them.’
10 Then all the people wanted to throw stones at Joshua and Caleb to kill them. But the glory of the Lord appeared over the Tent of Meeting. All the Israelites could see that.
11 The Lord said to Moses, ‘These people continue to turn away from me. I did great miracles to show them my power. But still they will not trust me.

9 Only do not rebel(A) against the Lord. And do not be afraid(B) of the people of the land,(C) because we will devour them. Their protection is gone, but the Lord is with(D) us.(E) Do not be afraid of them.”(F)
10 But the whole assembly talked about stoning(G) them. Then the glory of the Lord(H) appeared at the tent of meeting to all the Israelites. 11 The Lord said to Moses, “How long will these people treat me with contempt?(I) How long will they refuse to believe in me,(J) in spite of all the signs(K) I have performed among them?
