27 ‘If one person sins without knowing it, he must bring a one year old female goat for a sin gift. 28 And the religious leader before the Lord will pay for the sin of the person who sins without knowing it. He will pay for his sin so he may be forgiven. 29 You will have one Law for him who does anything without knowing it, for him who is one of the people of Israel and for the stranger who lives among them.

27 “‘But if just one person sins unintentionally,(A) that person must bring a year-old female goat for a sin offering.(B) 28 The priest is to make atonement(C) before the Lord for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven.(D) 29 One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.(E)
