28 And Moses said, “By this you shall know that Jehovah has sent me to do all these things that I have done—for I have not done them on my own. 29 If these men die a natural death or from some ordinary accident or disease, then Jehovah has not sent me. 30 But if the Lord does a miracle and the ground opens up and swallows them and everything that belongs to them, and they go down alive into Sheol, then you will know that these men have despised the Lord.”

28 Then Moses said, “This is how you will know(A) that the Lord has sent me(B) to do all these things and that it was not my idea: 29 If these men die a natural death and suffer the fate of all mankind, then the Lord has not sent me.(C) 30 But if the Lord brings about something totally new, and the earth opens its mouth(D) and swallows them, with everything that belongs to them, and they go down alive into the realm of the dead,(E) then you will know that these men have treated the Lord with contempt.(F)
