7 Then Moses left the staffs before the Lord in (A)the tent of the testimony.
8 Now on the next day Moses went into the tent of the testimony; and behold, (B)Aaron’s staff for the house of Levi had sprouted and produced buds and bloomed with blossoms, and it yielded ripe almonds. 9 Moses then brought out all the staffs from the presence of the Lord to all the sons of Israel; and they looked, and each man took his staff.

7 Moses placed the staffs before the Lord in the tent of the covenant law.(A)
8 The next day Moses entered the tent(B) and saw that Aaron’s staff,(C) which represented the tribe of Levi, had not only sprouted but had budded, blossomed and produced almonds.(D) 9 Then Moses brought out all the staffs(E) from the Lord’s presence to all the Israelites. They looked at them, and each of the leaders took his own staff.
