14 “Anything in Israel that is claimed by the Lord is yours. 15 Every firstborn male, human or animal, that is brought to Yahweh is yours. But you must buy back every firstborn son and the firstborn male of any unclean animal. 16 When they are one month old, you must buy them back at the fixed price of two ounces of silver, using the standard weight of the holy place.

14 “Everything in Israel that is devoted[a] to the Lord(A) is yours. 15 The first offspring of every womb, both human and animal, that is offered to the Lord is yours.(B) But you must redeem(C) every firstborn(D) son and every firstborn male of unclean animals.(E) 16 When they are a month old,(F) you must redeem them at the redemption price set at five shekels[b](G) of silver, according to the sanctuary shekel,(H) which weighs twenty gerahs.(I)

15 Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring unto the Lord, whether it be of men or beasts, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.
16 And those that are to be redeemed from a month old shalt thou redeem, according to thine estimation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.
