7 (A)Then the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned because we have spoken against Yahweh and against you; (B)pray to Yahweh, that He may remove the serpents from us.” And Moses prayed for the people. 8 Then Yahweh said to Moses, “[a]Make a (C)fiery serpent and set it on a standard; and it will be that everyone who is bitten and looks at it, will live.” 9 And Moses made a (D)bronze serpent and set it on the standard; and it happened, that if a serpent bit any man, when he looked to the bronze serpent, he lived.

7 The people came to Moses(A) and said, “We sinned(B) when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord(C) will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed(D) for the people.
8 The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole;(E) anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” 9 So Moses made a bronze snake(F) and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.(G)
