7 So the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned for we have spoken against the Lord and against you. Pray to the Lord, and He will take away the serpents from us.” And Moses prayed for the people.
8 The Lord said to Moses, “Make a poisonous serpent, and put it on a pole, and it will be, that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, will live.” 9 Moses made a bronze serpent and put it on a pole, and if a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked at the bronze serpent he lived.

7 The people came to Moses(A) and said, “We sinned(B) when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord(C) will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed(D) for the people.
8 The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole;(E) anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” 9 So Moses made a bronze snake(F) and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.(G)
