Numbers 21:8-10

8 And Yahweh said to Moses, “Make for yourself a snake and place it on a pole. When[a] anyone is bitten and looks at it, that person will live.” 9 So Moses made a snake of bronze, and he placed it on the pole; whenever[b] a snake bit someone, and that person looked at the snake of bronze, he lived.
10 The Israelites[c] set out and encamped at Oboth.

New International Version
8 The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole;(A) anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” 9 So Moses made a bronze snake(B) and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.(C)
