³⁸ So Balaam said to Balak, “Behold, I have come to you now! ^(A)Am I really able to speak anything? The word that God puts in my mouth, that only shall I speak.”

¹³ ‘If Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not do anything contrary to the ^[a]command of the Lord, either good or bad, ^(A)of my own ^[b]accord. ^(B)What the Lord speaks, I will ^[c]speak’?

¹⁴ But Micaiah said, “^(A)As the Lord lives, whatever ^(B)the Lord says to me, I shall speak it.”

¹³ But Micaiah said, “As the Lord lives, ^(A)whatever my God says, I will speak it.”
