40 Then Balak offered bullocks, and sheep, and sent thereof to Balaam, and to the princes that were with him.
41 And on the morrow Balak took Balaam and brought him up into the high places of [a]Baal, that thence he might see the utmost part of the people.

40 Balak sacrificed cattle and sheep,(A) and gave some to Balaam and the officials who were with him. 41 The next morning Balak took Balaam up to Bamoth Baal,(B) and from there he could see the outskirts of the Israelite camp.(C)
