Numbers 24:8-10

8 God brings him out of Egypt.
God is like the horns of a wild ox for him.
He will eat up the nations who are his adversaries.
He will gnaw on their bones.
He will pierce them through with his arrows.
9 He crouches like a lion.
He lies down like a lioness.
Who will rouse him?
The one who blesses you is blessed.
The one who curses you is cursed.
10 Balak’s anger burned against Balaam, and he slapped his hands together. Balak said to Balaam, “I summoned you to curse my enemies, but look, all you have done is bless them these three times.

8 “God brought them out of Egypt;
they have the strength of a wild ox.
They devour hostile nations
and break their bones in pieces;(A)
with their arrows they pierce them.(B)
9 Like a lion they crouch and lie down,
like a lioness(C)—who dares to rouse them?
10 Then Balak’s anger burned(F) against Balaam. He struck his hands together(G) and said to him, “I summoned you to curse my enemies,(H) but you have blessed them(I) these three times.(J)
