And indeed, one of the children of Israel came and presented to his brethren a Midianite woman in the sight of Moses and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, (C)who were weeping at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. Now (D)when Phinehas (E)the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose from among the congregation and took a javelin in his hand; and he went after the man of Israel into the tent and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her body. So (F)the plague was (G)stopped among the children of Israel.

Then an Israelite man brought into the camp a Midianite(C) woman right before the eyes of Moses and the whole assembly of Israel while they were weeping(D) at the entrance to the tent of meeting. When Phinehas(E) son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, the priest, saw this, he left the assembly, took a spear(F) in his hand and followed the Israelite into the tent. He drove the spear into both of them, right through the Israelite man and into the woman’s stomach. Then the plague against the Israelites was stopped;(G)
