38 The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of [a]Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites; 39 of [b]Shephupham, the family of the Shuphamites; of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites. 40 And the sons of Bela were [c]Ard and Naaman: of Ard, the family of the Ardites; of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.

through Bela, the Belaite clan;

through Ahiram, the Ahiramite clan;
39 through Shupham,[a] the Shuphamite clan;
through Hupham, the Huphamite clan.
40 The descendants of Bela through Ard(B) and Naaman were:
through Ard,[b] the Ardite clan;
