Good News Translation

³⁸The tribe of Benjamin: the clans of Bela, Ashbel, Ahiram, ³⁹Shephupham, and Hupham. ⁴⁰The clans of Ard and Naaman traced their descent from Bela.

Numbers 26:38-40

New International Version

³⁸The descendants of Benjamin^(A) by their clans were:

through Bela, the Belaite clan;

through Ashbel, the Ashbelite clan;

through Ahiram, the Ahiramite clan;

³⁹through Shupham,^[a] the Shuphamite clan;

through Hupham, the Huphamite clan.

⁴⁰The descendants of Bela through Ard^(B) and Naaman were:

through Ard,^[b] the Ardite clan;

through Naaman, the Naamite clan.
