38 The Benjaminites by their families: from Bela, the family of the Belaites; from Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; from Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites; 39 from Shupham,[a] the family of the Shuphamites; from Hupham, the family of the Huphamites. 40 The descendants of Bela were Ard[b] and Naaman. From Ard,[c] the family of the Ardites; from Naaman, the family of the Naamanites.

through Ahiram, the Ahiramite clan;
39 through Shupham,[a] the Shuphamite clan;

40 The descendants of Bela through Ard(B) and Naaman were:
