Numbers 33:51-53

⁵¹ Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: When you are crossing over Jordan into the land of Canaan, ⁵² then you will drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their carved images, and destroy all their molded images, and destroy all their high places, ⁵³ and you will drive out the inhabitants of the land and dwell in it, because I have given you the land to inherit it.
