12 The cities shall be for you a refuge from the avenger, so that the slayer may not die until there is a trial before the congregation.(A)
13 “The cities that you designate shall be six cities of refuge for you: 14 you shall designate three cities beyond the Jordan, and three cities in the land of Canaan, to be cities of refuge.

12 They will be places of refuge from the avenger,(A) so that anyone accused of murder(B) may not die before they stand trial before the assembly.(C) 13 These six towns you give will be your cities of refuge.(D) 14 Give three on this side of the Jordan and three in Canaan as cities of refuge.
