14 But the man may think that it happened. He will be angry. But she may not have made herself unclean in that way. 15 The man must take his wife to the priest. He must bring one kilogram of barley flour with him. This is a grain offering to discover if his wife really did do those things. So he must not put oil or incense on the grain offering. That is an offering because the man does not trust his wife.

16 Then the priest will bring the woman to stand in front of the Lord.

14 and if feelings of jealousy(A) come over her husband and he suspects his wife and she is impure—or if he is jealous and suspects her even though she is not impure— 15 then he is to take his wife to the priest. He must also take an offering of a tenth of an ephah[a](B) of barley flour(C) on her behalf. He must not pour olive oil on it or put incense on it, because it is a grain offering for jealousy,(D) a reminder-offering(E) to draw attention to wrongdoing.
