14 [a]If he be moved with a jealous mind, so that he is jealous over his wife, which is defiled, or if he have a jealous mind, so that he is jealous over his wife, which is not defiled,

15 Then shall the man bring his wife to the Priest, and bring her offering with her, the tenth part of an Ephah of barley meal, but he shall not pour [b]oil upon it, nor put incense thereon: for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering for a remembrance, calling the sin to [c]mind.

16 And the Priest shall bring her, and set her before the Lord.

14 and if feelings of jealousy(A) come over her husband and he suspects his wife and she is impure—or if he is jealous and suspects her even though she is not impure— 15 then he is to take his wife to the priest. He must not pour olive oil on it or put incense on it, because it is a grain offering for jealousy,(D) a reminder-offering(E) to draw attention to wrongdoing.
