2 The chiefs of Israel, the leaders of their households, made their presentations. They were the tribal chiefs and those who were in charge of the enlistment. 3 They brought their offerings before the Lord: six covered wagons and twelve oxen—a wagon for every two chiefs, and an ox for every chief. They brought them near before the dwelling.

2 Then the leaders of Israel,(A) the heads of families who were the tribal leaders in charge of those who were counted,(B) made offerings. 3 They brought as their gifts before the Lord six covered carts(C) and twelve oxen—an ox from each leader and a cart from every two. These they presented before the tabernacle.
4 The Lord said to Moses,
