³⁸ As for the censers of these ^[a]men who have sinned at the cost of their own lives, have them made into hammered sheets as plating for the altar, since they did present them before the Lord and they are holy; and ^(A)they shall ^[b]serve as a sign to the sons of Israel.”

¹⁹ Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah actually put him to death? Did he not ^(A)fear the Lord and plead for the favor of the Lord, and ^(B)the Lord relented of the disaster which He had pronounced against them? But we are ^(C)committing a great evil against our own lives!”

¹¹ Say to them, ‘^(A)As I live!’ declares the Lord ^[a]God, ‘I take ^(B)no pleasure at all in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked ^(C)turn from his way and live. ^(D)Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then should you die, house of Israel?’
