Proverbs 11:1-3

11 The Lord hates a false weight, but a true weight is His joy.

²When pride comes, then comes shame, but wisdom is with those who have no pride.

³The honor of good people will lead them, but those who hurt others will be destroyed by their own false ways.

11 The Lord detests dishonest scales,^(A)
but accurate weights find favor with him.^(B)

²When pride comes, then comes disgrace,^(C)
but with humility comes wisdom.^(D)

³The integrity of the upright guides them,
but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.^(E)

11 A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.

²When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

³The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
