²⁷A lazy man won’t even dress the game he gets while hunting, but the diligent man makes good use of everything he finds.

²⁸The path of the godly leads to life. So why fear death?

Proverbs 12:26-28

²⁶The righteous choose their friends carefully,
but the way of the wicked leads them astray.^(A)

²⁷The lazy do not roast^[a] any game,
but the diligent feed on the riches of the hunt.

²⁸In the way of righteousness there is life;^(B)
along that path is immortality.
