¹⁰Your joy is your own; your bitterness is your own. No one can share them with you.

¹¹A good person's house will still be standing after an evildoer's house has been destroyed.

¹²^(A)What you think is the right road may lead to death.

Proverbs 14:10-12

New International Version

¹⁰Each heart knows its own bitterness,
and no one else can share its joy.

¹¹The house of the wicked will be destroyed,^(A)
but the tent of the upright will flourish.^(B)

¹²There is a way that appears to be right,^(C)
but in the end it leads to death.^(D)
