Proverbs 14:32-34
International Standard Version
32 The wicked person is thrown down by his own wrongdoing,
but the righteous person has a place of safety in death.[a]
33 Wisdom is at rest in the mind of the discerning—
even fools know this.[b]
34 Righteousness makes a nation great,
but sin diminishes[c] any people.

32 When calamity comes, the wicked are brought down,(A)
but even in death the righteous seek refuge in God.(B)
33 Wisdom reposes in the heart of the discerning(C)
and even among fools she lets herself be known.[a]

but sin condemns any people.
