Proverbs 17:2-4

2 A wise servant will rule over an unworthy son,

3 The crucible for silver, and the furnace for gold,
but the tester of hearts is the Lord.
4 The evildoer gives heed to wicked lips,
the liar, to a mischievous tongue.
