25 Lazy people who refuse to work are only killing themselves; 26 all they do is think about what they would like to have. The righteous, however, can give, and give generously.

27 (A)The Lord hates it when wicked people offer him sacrifices, especially if they do it from evil motives.

25 The craving of a sluggard will be the death of him,(A)
    because his hands refuse to work.
26 All day long he craves for more,
    but the righteous(B) give without sparing.(C)

27 The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable(D)—
    how much more so when brought with evil intent!(E)
