Proverbs 22:9-11

Darby Translation

⁹He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed, for he giveth of his bread to the poor.

¹⁰Cast out the scorner, and contention will depart, and strife and ignominy shall cease.

¹¹He that loveth pureness of heart, upon whose lips is grace, the king is his friend.

Proverbs 22:9-11

⁹The generous will themselves be blessed,^(A)
for they share their food with the poor.^(B)

¹⁰Drive out the mocker, and out goes strife;
quarrels and insults are ended.^(C)

¹¹One who loves a pure heart and who speaks with grace
will have the king for a friend.^(D)
