Proverbs 27:12-14

12 The clever see trouble coming and hide;
the thoughtless go on and pay the penalty.
13 Seize his clothes because he guaranteed a stranger’s loan;
take them as security for that unknown woman.
14 Whoever greets his neighbor in a loud voice at dawn
might just as well have cursed him.

12 The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.(A)
13 Take the garment of one who puts up security for a stranger;
hold it in pledge if it is done for an outsider.(B)
14 If anyone loudly blesses their neighbor early in the morning,
it will be taken as a curse.
