Proverbs 27:12-14
Good News Translation
12 Sensible people will see trouble coming and avoid it, but an unthinking person will walk right into it and regret it later.
13 Any people stupid enough to promise to be responsible for a stranger's debts[a] deserve to have their own property held to guarantee payment.
14 You might as well curse your friends as wake them up early in the morning with a loud greeting.

Proverbs 27:12-14
New International Version
12 The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.(A)
13 Take the garment of one who puts up security for a stranger;
hold it in pledge if it is done for an outsider.(B)
14 If anyone loudly blesses their neighbor early in the morning,
it will be taken as a curse.
