Proverbs 29:24-26

²⁴¶ Whosoever is partner with a thief hates his own soul; he hears cursing, and does not disclose it.

²⁵¶ The fear of man brings a snare, but whosoever puts his trust in the LORD shall be lifted up.

²⁶¶ Many seek the ruler’s favour, but each man’s judgment comes from the LORD.

Proverbs 29:24-26

New International Version

²⁴The accomplices of thieves are their own enemies;
they are put under oath and dare not testify.^(A)

²⁵Fear^(B) of man will prove to be a snare,
but whoever trusts in the Lord^(C) is kept safe.^(D)

²⁶Many seek an audience with a ruler,^(E)
but it is from the Lord that one gets justice.^(F)
