Proverbs 29:25-27

New American Standard Bible

²⁵The ^(A)fear of man ^[a]brings a snare,
But one who ^(B)trusts in the Lord will be protected.
²⁶^(C)Many seek the ruler’s ^[b]favor,
But ^(D)justice for mankind comes from the Lord.
²⁷An ^(E)unjust person is an abomination to the righteous,
And one who is ^(F)upright in the way is an abomination to the wicked.
