Proverbs 29:5-7

New King James Version

⁵A man who ^(A)flatters his neighbor
Spreads a net for his feet.

⁶By transgression an evil man is snared,
But the righteous sings and rejoices.

⁷The righteous ^(B)considers the cause of the poor,
But the wicked does not understand such knowledge.

⁶Evildoers are snared by their own sin,^(B)
but the righteous shout for joy and are glad.
