Proverbs 3:13-18

New International Version

¹³Blessed are those who find wisdom,
    those who gain understanding,
¹⁴for she is more profitable than silver
    and yields better returns than gold.^(A)
¹⁵She is more precious than rubies;^(B)
    nothing you desire can compare with her.^(C)
¹⁶Long life is in her right hand;^(D)
    in her left hand are riches and honor.^(E)
¹⁷Her ways are pleasant ways,
    and all her paths are peace.^(F)
¹⁸She is a tree of life^(G) to those who take hold of her;
    those who hold her fast will be blessed.^(H)

Daniel 5:11-12

New International Version

¹¹There is a man in your kingdom who has the spirit of the holy gods^(A) in him. In the time of your father he was found to have insight and intelligence and wisdom^(B) like that of the gods.^(C) Your father, King Nebuchadnezzar, appointed him chief of the magicians, enchanters, astrologers and diviners.^(D) ¹²He did this because Daniel, whom the king called Belteshazzar,^(E) was found to have a keen mind and knowledge and understanding, and also the ability to interpret dreams, explain riddles^(F) and solve difficult problems.^(G) Call for Daniel, and he will tell you what the writing means.^(H)”
