¹⁵ As you ^(A)rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it was desolate, ^(B)so I will do to you. You will be a ^(C)desolation, Mount Seir, and all Edom, all of it. Then they will know that I am the Lord.”’

⁵ therefore the Lord God says this: “Certainly in the fire of My ^(A)jealousy I have spoken against the ^(B)rest of the nations, and against all Edom, who ^[a]appropriated My land for themselves as a possession with wholehearted ^(C)joy and with contempt of soul, in order to make its pastureland plunder.”
