Psalm 69:23-29
New American Bible (Revised Edition)
IV
23 May their own table be a snare for them,
and their communion offerings a trap.(A)
24 Make their eyes so dim they cannot see;
keep their backs ever feeble.
25 Pour out your wrath upon them;
let the fury of your anger overtake them.
26 Make their camp desolate,
with none to dwell in their tents.(B)
27 For they pursued the one you struck,
added to the pain of the one you wounded.
28 Heap punishment upon their punishment;
let them gain from you no vindication.
29 May they be blotted from the book of life;
not registered among the just!(C)
Psalm 69:23-29

25 May their place be deserted;(C)
let there be no one to dwell in their tents.(D)
26 For they persecute those you wound
and talk about the pain of those you hurt.(E)
27 Charge them with crime upon crime;(F)
do not let them share in your salvation.(G)
28 May they be blotted out of the book of life(H)
and not be listed with the righteous.(I)
29 But as for me, afflicted and in pain—
may your salvation, God, protect me.(J)
Psalm 69:23-29
King James Version
23 Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.
24 Pour out thine indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.
25 Let their habitation be desolate; and let none dwell in their tents.
26 For they persecute him whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.
27 Add iniquity unto their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
29 But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
