⁷All who serve idols are put to shame,
those who boast in “nothings.”^[a]
Bow to him, all you gods!^[b]

Psalm 97:7 Or non-gods or mini-gods. The Hebrew word is a diminutive of either the word god or the word not.
Psalm 97:7 As the preceding line makes clear, this does not express a belief in the existence of other gods. It states that they are nothing but demons.
