24 They despised the pleasant land
and did not believe His promise.(A)
25 They grumbled in their tents
and did not listen to the Lord’s voice.(B)
26 So He raised His hand against them with an oath
that He would make them fall in the desert(C)

24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
25 But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord.
26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
