²⁸ While they curse,^(A) may you bless;
    may those who attack me be put to shame,
    but may your servant rejoice.^(B)

¹⁴ My servants will sing^(A)
    out of the joy of their hearts,
but you will cry out^(B)
    from anguish of heart
    and wail in brokenness of spirit.

¹⁹ From them will come songs^(A) of thanksgiving^(B)
    and the sound of rejoicing.^(C)
I will add to their numbers,^(D)
    and they will not be decreased;
I will bring them honor,^(E)
    and they will not be disdained.

¹⁴ Sing, Daughter Zion;^(A)
    shout aloud,^(B) Israel!
Be glad and rejoice^(C) with all your heart,
    Daughter Jerusalem!
