Psalm 12:2

New International Version

²Everyone lies^(A) to their neighbor;
they flatter with their lips
but harbor deception in their hearts.^(B)

²They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

⁷No one who practices deceit
will dwell in my house;
no one who speaks falsely
will stand in my presence.

⁷He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

¹¹“Blessed are you when people insult you,^(A) persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.^(B)
