⁵ The Lord is your ^[a](A)protector;
The Lord is your ^(B)shade on your right hand.
⁶ The ^(C)sun will not ^[b]beat down on you by day,
Nor the moon by night.
⁷ The Lord will ^[c](D)protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
⁸ The Lord will ^[d](E)guard your going out and your coming in
^(F)From this time and forever.

¹⁰ They will ^(A)not hunger or thirst,
Nor will the scorching ^(B)heat or sun strike them down;
For ^(C)He who has compassion on them will ^(D)lead them,
And He will guide them to ^(E)springs of water.
