Psalm 121:7

⁷The Lord shall ^[a]preserve you from all evil;
He shall ^(A)preserve your soul.

⁷The Lord will keep you from all harm^(A)—
he will watch over your life;

⁹then ^(A)the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment,

⁹if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials^(A) and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.^(B)
